Consign Your Watch

1. Consignment Period

The initial consignment period is ninety (90) days from the date of drop-off. Watch Avenue may extend this by mutual written agreement. If the watch remains unsold, the owner may collect it within fourteen (14) days or renew for an additional term.

2. Consignment Fee & Payment

The consignment fee is based on the final sale price as set out in the Fee Schedule. The fee is non-refundable once a sale is completed. Net proceeds are disbursed within seven (7) business days of cleared payment, via bank transfer or agreed method.

3. Authentication, Polish & Shipping Fee

A flat $500 fee covers third-party authentication, professional cleaning and polishing, and insured shipping to the buyer. This may be deducted from sale proceeds. No fee is charged if the watch does not sell.

4. Pricing & Listing

The owner's asking price is used as the initial list price. With prior written or electronic consent, Watch Avenue may adjust the price by up to 10% to remain competitive. Any reduction beyond 10% requires explicit owner approval.

5. Title & Ownership

The owner warrants clear and unencumbered title and full authority to consign the watch. The owner indemnifies Watch Avenue against third-party ownership claims. Title passes to the buyer only upon receipt of full cleared payment.

6. Withdrawal of Consignment

The owner may withdraw the watch before a sale is agreed by providing written notice. If a binding sale has been agreed, withdrawal incurs the full applicable consignment fee as a cancellation charge.

7. Condition Representation

The owner agrees to accurately disclose the watch's condition, including damage, service history, and missing components. Watch Avenue may adjust the listing price or withdraw the item if the condition materially differs from what was disclosed.

8. Marketing & Photography

Watch Avenue may photograph, film, and promote the consigned item across all marketing channels including Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads, and third-party marketplaces. All marketing materials created by Watch Avenue remain Watch Avenue's intellectual property.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Disputes shall first be referred to mediation; if unresolved, to binding arbitration. This agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which Watch Avenue operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
